Welcome to the Steffy's Home Page
From the Year 2019
The once-a-year happenings of Eric, Becky, Dan, Lauren, Natalie and Sarah Steffy

May 2019
May: Sarah (14), Becky, Natalie (16), Eric, Dan (20), Lauren (18)

We're thankful for the blessings of:
  • Dan and Lauren growing their wings in college
  • Natalie and Sarah still home in the nest in high school
  • Steady challenging work for Eric that uses his skill set
  • Women's ministry program at church for Becky to use her teaching gifts
  • Dan, Lauren and Sarah helping this past July at a summer camp in Ukraine
  • Natalie traveling on a missions trip to the Dominican Republic this past June
  • Warm dry house that's a peaceful home, not just a house
  • Reliable cars that keep us moving around with minimal repairs
  • Celebrating 25 years of marriage this year!

Eric and Becky: Rather than doing one big event for our 25th anniversary, we're doing 25 smaller extra-special things spread out through the 12 following months: Three in July 2019 (anniversary month) along with two more per month through June 2020. It's been a lot of fun to plan and schedule so many "little anniversary events" to keep us growing closer than ever.

Dan: Now a junior at Charleston Southern University (CSU) in South Carolina. His major is Graphic Design, but he's still figuring out what minor to add. He's active in several different extra-curricular activities including a lot of sound/tech/video/lighting while also doing a lot of photography work. To see some of his photos, check out dasteffy.com which will be up and running before the new year!

Lauren: She's a sophomore Accounting major at Messiah College and will be studying abroad with the International Business Institute next summer. It's a full semester load through ten weeks and 12 countries including seven in Europe plus UAE, India, Thailand, China, and South Korea. In addition, she and Dan are headed back to Ukraine, January 4 to 18, so lots of upcoming travel!

Natalie: Already a junior in high school, she continues to do well in all her classes while also finding time to hang out with all her friends. Her college search process is under way with an emphasis on colleges located in the New England area. We're expecting some college visit trips together in 2020. She's also in band (clarinet) and many different school clubs and activities.

Sarah: Now in 10th grade, she's busy with friends, school and now working. Our high school participates in American Music Abroad and Sarah got a job in dining services at a retirement community to help pay for her trip. She'll be traveling with 100 students from area high schools this summer for three weeks giving band, chorus and orchestra concerts in Europe. Sarah plays trumpet.
